Well it's 1:30am on Wednesday morning 17/9/08 and I thought I'd just check in to tell y'all about our kick ass weekend a few days ago as I'm still feeling the effects of it! (Some of it self induced, I admit... haha)

Well it all started in true BA style when we were all meant to be rockin' up at Peter's house on Thursday night as we were leaving from there at god damn 3am Friday morning!! (Those who know me well know how much I fucking hate getting up early!) but then we didn't actually get asleep until 1am friday morning due to work commitments so after getting a MASSIVE 2 hour sleep we hit the road to get to Sydney Airport and after a couple of minor road rage incidences we were at the Airport, smashed down some shithouse Maccas and then we were on the plane and before you knew it in Perth for our weekend of Destruction! After having some fine WA Licquer and Daniel getting some ink done on his leg we got to the venue for the first night - Amplifier Bar in Central Perth and it turned out be an awesome night with the locals enjoying the BA tunes and there was some very impressive moshing happening! On the night we played with some awesome bands and of course the boys from Chaos Divine (who's album launch it was) destroyed the place as per usual! The lads are not just awesome dudes to drink with but are a very fucking good band!!

So...... The night then prevailed with some very solid drinking... I can't even remember when the fuck I got to sleep but I woke up on a mattress in the house we were staying at so that was fucking awesome!!

Saturday was a very cool day for the band (and myself personally) as we visited one of my biggest idols as we paid respect to the mighty Bon Scott, for those who are obsessed with the band AC/DC as much as me or just a music lover I suggest that you get to Fremantle and pay the man respect at his final resting place as he is one of the biggest pioneers in Australian Rock... RIP Bon...

The show on Saturday was at HQ Skatepark and it was an awesome all ages show and I must say the kids over there go just as fucking nuts as all our friends over here on the East Coast! Got to meet a lot of them after the show and it was awesome that they destroyed the venue so much!! FUCK YEAH! And the other bands on that night destroyed as well! (Also cheers for the wireless Blake, You're a fucken champ!)

After that, well yeah you guessed it... We polished off some more fine ales and before you knew it we were back on a plane and hit good old Sydney again on the Sunday!

So overall the weekend was one that will be remembered (Well most of it, not the blurred parts) for a long time! We just wanna say a MASSIVE SHOUTOUT to Adam, our fucking cool brother who put us up in his fine house for the whole weekend and drunk with us and also Dyson from Prime Cuts for helping us out as well! You guys are fucking tops!!

Also a MASSIVE SHOUTOUT to the mighty Chaos Divine for putting us on their Album Launch shows and to all the other bands that played over the 2 nights! They were all certainly some awesome bands, WA certainly know how to produce some fine metal acts!!

And last but certainly not least, all the awesome WA folk that welcomed us over the 2 shows! Your hospitality was awesome and you guys certainly know how to get a pit moving!! We'll be seeing y'all again soon for sure!
